the Columbia River.
On December 19th, 2023, the Board of County Commissioners updated and adopted the new Chapter 12 - Kittitas County Roads and Bridges Standards. Links to Ordinance 2023-010 and the new Title 12 Updates can be found below.

Kittitas County is currently in transition of updating and replacing its Road Standards to comply with Ordinance 2023-010. For more information or to view the proposed standards in a different format, contact the Public Works Department at 509-962-7523.
Kittitas County has a total area of 2,333 square miles. The highest point in the county is Mount Daniel at 7,959 feet above sea level.
