What is Child Fatality Review?

Child Fatality Review (CFR) is the process of reviewing unexpected child deaths in children younger than 19. Its goal is to improve injury prevention strategies. This process is multidisciplinary, bringing together professionals from various fields. Importantly, this is not a punitive process. These different perspectives help create actionable solutions to prevent future fatalities.
