The Kittitas County Emergency Operations Center has updated damage assessments for the Snag Canyon Fire. There are now 22 confirmed structures lost, including 10 homes or cabins and 12 other structures.
Kittitas County Solid Waste will begin accepting fire debris on August 18th, which meets the 15-day waiting period requirement. Homeowners and property owners who have reported damages from the Snag Canyon Fire are encouraged to contact Solid Waste at 509-962-7542 to discuss debris removal options. Solid Waste will work directly with owners affected by this fire.
