The Robbins Road fire has prompted the Kittitas County Sheriff to designate level-3 evacuations.
Level-3 evacuations have been initiated in the areas between Wilson and Naneum Road, north of Charlton Road. As well as the Sun East area and Robbins Road north of Smithson Road. Level-3 means you are encouraged to evacuate the area immediately.
Red Cross staff has opened an emergency shelter at the Mercer Creek Church in Ellensburg. The Fairgrounds is open for emergency shelter for livestock and animals.
The fires in Kittitas County were sparked by lightening strikes earlier this evening.
