New Cle Elum Transfer Station Entrance Coming September 1st

Kittitas County, WA - 08/21/2026 - The Cle Elum Transfer Station located at 50 #5 Mine Road will have a new entrance location and one-way traffic pattern starting Tuesday, September 1st.

The new entrance will improve traffic flow and prevent backup on SR 903. 

• You will enter the transfer station using the new eastern driveway off SR 903
• Stay on the posted one-way route throughout the site
• You will now exit the site using the old entrance on 50 #5 Mine Road - across from the Upper County Public Works shop
