Kittitas County and Partner Cities Announce Opening of 2027 Consolidated Lodging Tax Grant Application Process

Kittitas County, WA - 07/31/2026 - Kittitas County, in coordination with the cities of Ellensburg, Cle Elum, and Roslyn, announces the opening of the consolidated lodging tax grant application cycle for fiscal year 2027 funding.

The Consolidated Lodging Tax program provides grant funding to local non-profit organizations, public agencies, and event organizers for projects, events, and activities that promote tourism, attract overnight visitors, and support the local economy across Kittitas County. By utilizing a single, consolidated application process, applicants can apply for lodging tax funding from multiple participating local jurisdictions simultaneously.

• Application Window Opens: Friday, July 31, 2026
• Application Workshops: Tuesday, August 18, 2026 (Kittitas County Chamber of Commerce) & Thursday, August 20, 2026, 5:30-7PM (Business Development Center)
• Application Submission Deadline: Friday, September 18, 2026, at 4:00 PM
• Municipal Review Period: September 25, 2026 – October 30, 2026 (All municipality scores due by October 30, 2026)
• Grant Application Presentations: Friday, November 20, 2026, beginning at 8:00 AM at Ellensburg City Hall (Council Chambers) until complete.

All applications must be completed and submitted electronically through the designated online application portal by the September 18, 2026, 4:00 PM deadline. Late or incomplete applications will not be accepted for review.
