Kittitas County, WA - 07/01/2025 - The Kittitas County Veterans Services Program (VSP) is working to expand the services needed within Kittitas County. To start, the VSP is gathering information about what clients need and how we can improve services, improve outreach, and awareness. Part of the information gathering is a community survey for veterans, veterans’ family members, and anyone who supports veterans in our community. The goal of the survey is so that the VSP can better serve our veterans. We want to understand how to strengthen the support for veterans in Kittitas County including supporting the individual, the family, and their home. We want to hear from you. You can take the survey online at Qualtrics Survey | Qualtrics Experience Management or you can call the VSP for help with completing the survey. Please help us gather the voices of veterans! If you know a veteran, please share this opportunity to complete this survey. If you or someone you know needs to get connected with the VSP, please either call 509-933-8325, or email VSP@co.kittitas.wa.us, or visit KCPHD’s front desk. Staff at the VSP are trained to assist with Veterans Administration claims. They can also help with financial support, education, healthcare, and more. Anyone interested in working with the Veteran Services Officer (VSO) will need to provide discharge paperwork to verify military service. Information about services and resources available to veterans through the Washington State Department of Veterans Affairs can be found at www.dva.wa.gov.
