2025 Kittitas County Property Tax Statements

Kittitas County, WA - 02/21/2025 - The Kittitas County Treasurer's office has announced that 2025 tax and assessment statements were mailed on 2/21/2025.

Please watch for your Kittitas County property tax and special assessment statements. These should arrive by mail, or email if you signed up for eNoticesOnline, soon.  If you do not receive any of your statements by March 21st, please confirm that your mailing address is correct by visiting the Treasurer’s TaxSifter website at http://taxsifter.co.kittitas.wa.us. Parcel, tax, and payment history information can be found on this website. You may also contact our office by email at treasurer@co.kittitas.wa.us or by phone at 509-962-7535 with any questions or concerns.
 
Our office sends tax statements directly to the property owner. If a mortgage lender pays your taxes, they will likely request a copy of the tax roll from our office. If you have any concerns, contact your mortgage company directly to confirm that they have the current tax information.

Payment for at least the first half of your 2025 property taxes is due by April 30.

Tax payments can be made:

• Online through our NEW self-managed payment portal hosted by Point & Pay at paymybills.link/Kittitas, or through the TaxSifter website, taxsifter.co.kittitas.wa.us, or by calling Point and Pay directly at (866) 279-1721. Please note that a 2.49% fee for credit cards, a $3.95 fee for debit cards, or a $2 eCheck fee will be charged for any of these services.
• Online through your bank’s online bill payment services.
• In Person in Ellensburg, at 205 W 5th Ave, Ste 102, Ellensburg, Monday through Friday 9:00am to 4:00pm. In April and October, our office is open until 5:00pm.
• In Person in Cle Elum, at 700 E 1st, Cle Elum, in April and October only, Tuesdays and Fridays from 1:00pm – 4:00pm. Your payment will be posted during these times.
• Drive Up Drop Box – there is a black Drop Box on the South side of the Courthouse driveway where tax payments, or other documents, can be left without the need to come into the building. Please do not place cash in this drop box.
• By mail. Taxpayers should include their tax payment coupon and write the property tax account number on their check or money order. Cash should not be sent through the mail. Our mailing address is:

Special assessment statements for Cascade Irrigation, Kittitas County Television District, and Public Works Water Metering were also mailed on February 21, 2025. The Television District (communications assessment) statements will be mailed in a separate envelope. Please note, that TV exemptions will only be taken until April 30, 2025. After the exemption deadline, the full assessment amount and a late fee will be due.
