The current burn ban implemented in July for Kittitas County lands will be canceled effective at 0001 hrs. on Friday, September 23, 2022. Current weather conditions have lowered fire danger ratings, however, the public is still urged to use caution when open burning.
State and Federal lands that are not governed by Kittitas County may still have fire restrictions in effect. Anyone planning to recreate on these lands is encouraged to contact the proper agency to determine such restrictions.
