Wildfire threatens structures and residences east of Kittitas.
A wildfire burning east of the city of Kittitas is threatening residences and structures along Clerf Road and Parke Creek Road. Some structures have been damaged or lost along Stingley Road. Dozens of residences have been evacuated and we are unaware of any major injuries so far. The situation is rapidly evolving as Kittitas Valley Fire and Rescue fight the fire along with Department of Natural Resources personnel and apparatus.
The city of Kittitas is not believed threatened by the fire at this time.
