Kittitas (pronounced 'KITT-i-tass') County is located in central Washington State. It spans from the lush forested Cascade Mountains to the upper Yakima River Valley plains and the Columbia River.
Kittitas County, WA - 02/02/2021 - The Kittitas County Incident Management Team (IMT) has identified the wait list issues that caused a temporary closure of access to the wait list. No one’s information was lost during that issue. To date, we have approximately 2,500 Kittitas County residents who are currently on the wait list. The 2,500 individuals on the wait list will be prioritized for when the county receives its next allotment of COVID-19 vaccine doses.
Another wait list will be open and available to the public within a week. The IMT is working on refining the SignUpGenius process. “With limited vaccine supply and parameters set by the state, we want to continue to strive for a fair and equitable process here on the local level,” states Incident Commander Darren Higashiyama. “Everyone that wants the vaccine should be able to access the vaccine as soon as they are eligible and supply is available.” To read about COVID-19 vaccine, please visit www.doh.wa.gov or www.cdc.gov.
