Kittitas (pronounced 'KITT-i-tass') County is located in central Washington State. It spans from the lush forested Cascade Mountains to the upper Yakima River Valley plains and the Columbia River.
Kittitas County, WA - 03/18/2020 - In an effort to respond to concerns regarding COVID-19, the Kittitas County Public Health Department building will be closed to the public. Anyone who needs services from our front desk staff can call staff at 509-962-7515 and staff will make an appointment to provide the service safely. The service level remains the same at this time.
“The COVID-19 situation and response change overnight, and so our decision to remain open to the public also had to change overnight,” states Public Health Director Tristen Lamb. “The temporary stoppage of face-to-face interactions allows public health staff to focus on COVID-19 response, while supporting the necessary social distancing measures in place in our state.”
If you have questions related to your health, please contact your local healthcare provider or Kittitas Valley Healthcare’s Clinic at 509-933-8850.
If you have other questions about COVID-19, please contact the EOC at 509-933-8315.
We will provide another update at 12pm today and we are answering questions via Facebook. Please watch our county website along with our social media for more information today at www.co.kittitas.wa.us or Facebook.
