Notice of Election

KITTITAS COUNTY AUDITOR ~ GENERAL ELECTION INFORMATION:

Tuesday, November 3, 2026:

Notice is hereby given that the following dates, deadlines, and meetings apply to the upcoming General Election, to be held Tuesday, November 3, 2026:

November 3, 2026 – Last day for new registrations & transfers- must appear IN PERSON at an Auditor’s Office to register or transfer. Our address: 205 W. 5th Ave, Suite 105, Ellensburg

Registration assistance and voting aides are available for the elderly, disabled, or anyone that requests additional assistance.

 

ADA compliant voting equipment is available for use adjacent to the Election Room, Kittitas County Courthouse,  Monday – Thursday, 9am – 4:30pm, Friday, 8:30am – 2:30pm, beginning Friday, October 16, 2026, thru November 2, and on Election Day – November 3rd, from 9am to 8pm.

All eligible voters will be mailed a ballot at least 18 days prior to the election. Those not receiving a ballot may call the Elections Department at (509) 962-7503, email the office at: elections@co.kittitas.wa.us or stop in the office, to verify eligibility and request a ballot. 

Vote Centers:

  1. Cle Elum Centennial Center, 719 E. 3rd St, Cle Elum – Tuesday, November 3rd, Noon until 8:00pm
  2. Kittitas County Auditor’s Office: 205 W. 5th Ave, Suite 105, Ellensburg

Voter Registration, Ballots, Replacement Ballots, Provisional Ballots and Voting Supplies:

M - Th 8:30am-5pm; Friday 8:30am – 3:00pm

  • Election Day:   Kittitas County Courthouse – Auditor’s Office - 8:30am to 8:00pm
  • Replacement Ballots may also be downloaded at:  https://votewa.gov

Student HUB:

         CWU SURC, Room 137, 1007 N. Chestnut St, Ellensburg, Tuesday, November 3rd 9:00am – 8:00pm

Ballot Processing occurs weekdays, beginning October 16th from 9:30am – 4:00pm, M-Th, and 9:30am – 2:30pm Fridays.

Public Meetings will be held in the Election Room (located in the Basement of the Kittitas County Courthouse). Members of the public may observe proceedings from the viewing area outside of the Election Room.
