Notice of public hearing to consider the enabling documents for the 2026-2046 Comprehensive Plan Periodic update and Development Regulations.

(Correction to 6/4/2026 Notice) The Kittitas County Board of County Commissioners held hearings on June 2nd, 2026, where testimony was accepted, the records were formally closed and directed staff to prepare enabling documents for a closed record hearing on June 16, 2026, to consider enabling documents for the 2026 Comprehensive Plan Periodic Update and associated critical area and development regulations. This will be a closed record hearing, scheduled to enact BOCC decisions made at their June 2, 2026, Public Hearing. The public is encouraged to attend; however, no additional public testimony will be taken. The June 16, 2026 BOCC Closed Record Public Hearings will be held at 2pm at the Kittitas County Commissioners Auditorium located at 205 W 5th Ave, Ellensburg, WA.

Anyone with an interest in this matter is urged to attend said hearing where all testimony will be taken. Written comments may be received at 205 W 5th Ave. STE 108, Ellensburg, WA 98926 at or prior to the hearing.
