NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a public hearing will be held by the Board of County Commissioners on December 7th, 2015, at the hour of 2:00 p.m. in the County Commissioner’s Auditorium, County Courthouse and if necessary will continue through December 11th, 2015, to consider the adoption of the proposed 2016 County Budget.
Included in the 2016 budgets are property taxes in the estimated amount of: $8,500,000 for the General Levy; $4,100,000 for the County Road Levy less $200,000 for County Road Diversion levy; which includes an increase of 1%; $420,000 for the Flood Control Zone Levy; and $6,000 for Refund Levy, all which includes an increase for new construction only, and increases due to state assessed utilities
At said hearing; any interested person may appear and be heard for or against said proposed budgets and the property taxes. A copy of said budgets may be viewed in the Auditor's Office, County Courthouse Room 105, beginning December 1, 2015 or may be viewed on the County’s website http://www.co.kittitas.wa.us/auditor/budget.asp
