Kittitas (pronounced 'kit-i-tass') County is located in central Washington
State. It spans from the lush forested Cascade Mountains to the upper Yakima River Valley plains and
the Columbia River.
The Kittitas County Board of Commissioners issues proclamation:
April 2011 is National County Government Month.
In recognition of National County Government month, Kittitas County will host activities
and displays throughout the Courthouse from April 11th through 15th.
Citizens are welcome and encouraged to stop by.
The Kittitas County Commissioners will hold their annual coloring contest
for children in grades K-5. All entries will be displayed in hallways of the Courthouse.
Entries will be judged by the Kittitas County Board of Commissioners and awards
were presented to the top three individuals in each class who participates.
