Kittitas (pronounced 'KITT-i-tass') County is located in central Washington State. It spans from the lush forested Cascade Mountains to the upper Yakima River Valley plains and the Columbia River.
Kittitas County, WA - 01/20/2011 - Town meetings will take place on Monday, January 24, 2011, to address the flooding and to assist citizens in the reporting process. Both meetings will begin at 6:30pm, at the following locations: Hal Holmes Center in Ellensburg, Centennial Senior Center in Cle Elum.
NOTICE OF TOWN MEETINGS FOR KITTITAS COUNTY FLOODING
Home and business owners who have incurred damages from the recent flooding are encouraged to file a report with the Kittitas County Sheriff’s Office immediately. This data will be used in determining if damages are significant enough to warrant a request for federal disaster assistance and various other forms of assistance.
Town meetings will take place on Monday, January 24, 2011, to address the flooding and to assist citizens in the reporting process. Both meetings will begin at 6:30pm, at the following locations:
LOWER KITTITAS COUNTY HAL HOLMES CENTER 201 N. RUBY STREET ELLENSBURG
UPPER KITTITAS COUNTY CENTENNIAL SENIOR CENTER 719 E. 3RD STREET CLE ELUM
The meetings will include the following topics: • Review of the flood event • Assistance will be provided for completing damage reporting forms o Forms will be available for both Residential and Business/Commercial damage • Question & Answer session
