Kittitas County, WA - 06/20/2018 - ChillAxle is a new family-oriented event that combines a Classic Car Show, an RC Car Race, and good food from local vendors - all at the Kittitas Valley Event Center on Saturday, June 30, 2018.
The premier ChillAxle event will offer an abundance of classic, vintage, domestic, and imported vehicles to admire. Local car clubs, car enthusiasts, and attendees of all ages will enjoy strolling along the Grand Boulevard - a walk through automotive history, displaying the finest classic and historic vehicles from all eras. When attendees are ready to pick up the pace, they can visit our indoor arena to cheer on their favorite RC car as it zips along a challenging race track. Race participants will compete in various heats throughout the day in hopes of going home with a cash prize. There will be three racing brackets, and all the race entry fees will be paid out to the winners. Racers and community RC car enthusiasts will have access to open track time on Friday the 29th from 6 PM – 9 PM, so grab your RC car and come on down! Race check-in time is from 9 AM – 10 AM on Saturday, June 30. There’s still time to register! Visit http://rc.jerrols.com/ to register by Friday, June 22.
