Notice of public hearing to consider the 2011 County Budget
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a public hearing will be held by the Board of County Commissioners on December 6th, 2010, at the hour of 2:00 p.m. in the County Commissioner's Auditorium, County Courthouse and if necessary will continue through December 10th, 2010, to consider the adoption of the proposed 2011 County Budget.
Included in the 2011 budgets are property taxes in the estimated amount of: $6,120,256.00 for the General Levy; $635,000 levy shift from County Road to the General Levy; $3,938,500.00 for the County Road Levy less $200,000.00 for County Road Diversion levy; all which includes an increase for new construction only, and increases due to state assessed utilities estimated $10,000.00.
At said hearing; any interested person may appear and be heard for or against said proposed budgets and the property taxes. A copy of said budgets may be viewed in the Auditor's Office, County Courthouse Room 105, beginning November 29th, 2010 or may be viewed on the County's website
