Notice of public hearing to consider proposed changes to Kittitas County Code Chapter 14.08 Flood Damage Prevention.
The Board of Kittitas County Commissioners will meet at 2:00 pm on August 17, 2021 at the Commissioners' Auditorium, 205 West 5th Avenue, Room 109, Kittitas County Courthouse, Ellensburg, WA to consider proposed changes to Kittitas County Code Chapter 14.08 Flood Damage Prevention. The proposed amendments will adopt an updated Flood Insurance Study for Kittitas County, Washington and accompanying Flood Insurance Rate Maps, ensuring the ordinance meets Federal and State requirements for administration of the National Flood Insurance Program. A copy of the proposed code revisions may be viewed at Kittitas County Public Works at 411 North Ruby St, Suite 1 Ellensburg, WA 98926 during normal working hours (8 AM to 5 PM local time).
