Notice of public hearing to consider amendments to Kittitas County Code Title 9 and Title 20
The Board of Kittitas County Commissioners will meet at 2:00 pm on May 7, 2019 at the Commissioner's Auditorium, 205 West 5th Avenue, Room 109 to consider to consider amendments to Kittitas County Code Title 9 and Title 20. The amendments to Title 9 would authorize the Fire Marshal to approve firework ignition or discharge on days other than July 4th, December 31st and January 1st, and would authorize the Fire Marshal to prohibit the ignition or discharge of fireworks in conjunction with an established burn ban. The amendments to Title 20 would adopt amendments to the International Wildland-Urban Interface Code (IWUIC) regarding technical assistance, exterior wall treatments, openings in soffits, eaves, and overhangs, and trees allowed within required defensible space.
