An alphabetical list is provided below of common issues and a link to the responsible agency or department. The links are provided as a courtesy. Please contact the recommended agency or department directly if you have questions or need additional assistance.

Construction – complaints about residential or commercial construction that have current permits/inspections

  • Code Enforcement does not handle complaints for structures with active permits.
Critical Area inquiries or violations
Development Agreement violations

  • Code Enforcement is not involved in the enforcement of Development Agreement violations.
Drugs or suspicious activity
Easements – disputes, someone using your easement
  • Private Issue – Code Enforcement does not handle private matters. Contact a private attorney for assistance.

Enforcement – Kittitas County Code Enforcement inquiries, process, complaint forms
  • Complaints: All complaints must be submitted using our Complaint Form. Complaints that are not submitted using our form or incomplete will not be processed nor investigated.

  • Private Issue - Code Enforcement does not regulate nor enforce HOA/Neighborhood covenants, conditions, or restrictions.

  • Not permitted in Kittitas County outside of an established Manufactured/Mobile Home Park or unless permitted as a Special Care Dwelling.
