Kittitas (pronounced 'KITT-i-tass') County is located in central Washington State. It spans from the lush forested Cascade Mountains to the upper Yakima River Valley plains and the Columbia River.
Kittitas County, WA - 07/20/2022 - A series of vehicle thefts has recently impacted citizens in Upper Kittitas County. The focus of the thefts has been early 2000’s Ford Super Duty trucks (F250, F350, F450). In some cases, pickups that were recently stolen and then recovered have been targeted again. Sheriff’s Deputies and Cle Elum/Roslyn Police Officers are jointly investigating.
39-year-old Jesse Chenoweth and 33-year-old Keeley Wolfe of North Bend (pictured) are being sought as suspects in several of the thefts and in connection with other possibly related crimes. Chenoweth has an outstanding warrant for assault and attempting to elude police. He has a documented history of resisting and fleeing arrest and previous convictions for burglary, theft, possession of stolen vehicles, forgery, and assault. Do not attempt to apprehend Chenoweth. If you see him, call 911. Chenoweth is 6’1” and Wolfe is 5’6”. The attached photo is believed to be about 3 years old. We ask citizens to secure their vehicles and remove valuables that might encourage vehicle theft or break-ins. If anyone has information about these or other vehicle thefts, or about the location or activities of Keeley Wolfe or Jesse Chenoweth, please contact Kittcom at 509-925-8534 and provide your information for Deputy Ross or Deputy Johnston.
