Kittitas (pronounced 'KITT-i-tass') County is located in central Washington State. It spans from the lush forested Cascade Mountains to the upper Yakima River Valley plains and the Columbia River.
Kittitas County, WA - 04/01/2021 - Effective April 15, 2021 anyone age 16 and over can receive the COVID-19 vaccination per Governor Inslee’s announcement on March 31. Kittitas County will continue to use an appointment system and will continue to run county clinics. We ask the public to wait until the Incident Management Team announces appointments to the general population before signing up via SignUpGenius.
Currently, Kittitas County has openings for vaccines on April 8. If you are eligible, please make an appointment. “Due to the upcoming opening of eligibility, we are transitioning away from using a waitlist,” states Deputy Incident Commander Chelsey Loeffers. “The system will change from a wait list that prioritizes openings for eligible individuals to an email notification system that - notifies residents when appointments are available. All individuals currently on the waitlist will be contacted and updated. The scheduling system, SignUpGenius, will remain so that we can continue to ensure we do not stockpile or waste COVID-19 vaccine doses.” “Our IMT will continue to request the maximum allocation of vaccine the state allows, and we are ready to increase capacity as needed,” states Ms. Loeffers. “We will continue to run our county vaccination clinics until demand slows and other agencies can meet the needs of the public.” Help is available to sign up for COVID-19 vaccine appointments or to request accommodations.
