Kittitas County, WA -
There have been recent postings on social media in regard to the World Health Organization’s (WHO) masking information in response to COVID-19. The social media post asserts that WHO says only healthy people need to wear a mask if you are taking care of a person with COVID-19. Please be aware that this is referencing medical masks and not cloth masks.
Continued confusion remains on masking. Please use the original, vetted source of information about COVID-19 for information. World Health Organization, Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, Washington State Department of Health, and Kittitas County Public Health Department.
