Kittitas (pronounced 'KITT-i-tass') County is located in central Washington State. It spans from the lush forested Cascade Mountains to the upper Yakima River Valley plains and the Columbia River.
Kittitas County, WA - 04/20/2020 - The Kittitas County Incident Management Team (IMT) would like to thank partner agencies and elected officials for continuing to work together to respond to COVID-19. “Kittitas County is unique, because we do work so well together,” states Health Officer Dr. Mark Larson. “Other counties in the state are not working as well together.”
Representation of that ability is noted in a recent video, which shows various members of our community from healthcare, public health, emergency response, and local elected officials who all worked together to help keep our county safe. Special thanks to Rich Elliott, Darren Higashiyama, Brent Hals, John Camarata, Bruce Tabb, Julie Peterson, Steven Harper, Steve Sowers, Dr. Keven Martin, and Brett Wachsmith. Additional elected officials were unable to participate, because of regulations in election years. Please feel free to share the attached.
