Kittitas County, WA -
Traffic hazards in a rural county.
It's that time of year when sheep that have been grazing on the Okanogan Wenatchee National Forest service lands are moved back down into the valley. On September 18th and 19th, a local shepherd plans to move his sheep from the south fork of Manastash Canyon to the area of Mellergaard Rd. As with anything involving animals the dates and times are subject to change. If you are traveling in the area on the 18th and 19th, please be aware of possible delays and remember there are worse traffic jams to be stuck in.
