Amy Fuller, Assessment Coordinator, for the Kittitas County Public Health Department (KCPHD) received the 2019 Washington State Public Health Association’s (WSPHA) Public Health Excellence Award. The award is a result of Ms. Fuller’s commitment to improving public health. On October 2nd, WSPHA will formally recognize Ms. Fuller for her dedication and hard work at KCPHD.
Tristen Lamb, Public Health Administrator, nominated Amy Fuller for the award. “Amy Fuller’s passion for quality improvement, financial planning, and performance management has engaged our residents, community partners, and stakeholders. As a result of Ms. Fuller’s efforts, our county has a successful Community Health Assessment and our health department has a culture of quality improvement.”
Ms. Fuller has been working for KCPHD since 2012. She completed her Master’s in Public Health at the University of Washington, while continuing her work at KCPHD. Amy currently lives in Ellensburg with her husband, and cares about making public health data understandable and available to everyone.
