Kittitas County, WA - 03/02/2018 - Washington State’s Voluntary Stewardship Program (VSP) provides an alternative approach for counties to address Washington State’s Growth Management Act requirements. The program uses a watershed-based, incentive-based process to protect critical areas, promote viable agriculture, and encourage cooperation among diverse stakeholders.
Kittitas County submitted their VSP Work Plan to the Washington State Conservation Commission on March 1, 2018. The public is invited to comment on any VSP work plan submitted to the VSP Technical Panel within 14 days of submittal. The public has until March 15, 2018 to comment on the plan. Comments must be made and submitted to the Washington State Conservation Commission. The public can use this public comment form to capture any comments made. The work plan can be accessed from the Conservation Commission’s VSP web page at http://scc.wa.gov/vsp/.
