Progress Update for the Kittitas County Community Health Assessment (CHA)

Kittitas County, WA - 11/21/2017 - The Community Health Assessment (CHA) process is underway! The CHA is an assessment of the county’s health, which occurs every five years, with the most recent CHA process starting in June of this year. The Community Health Assessment is a collaborative process with over twenty partners from various agencies participating. The process is collaborative as well as comprehensive, with four assessments falling under the CHA process: Community Themes and Strengths Assessment, Local Public Health System Assessment, Community Health Status Assessment, and Forces of Change Assessment. For each assessment area, committees have been formed and are working to compile information about what affects the health of Kittitas County.
