Kittitas County Approves Updates to Public Health Fee Schedule

Kittitas County, WA - 10/20/2017 - On September 21, 2017 the Kittitas County Board of Health (BOH) and the Board of County Commissioners (BOCC) approved an updated Kittitas County Public Health Department (KCPHD) Fee Schedule and policy for 2017. The changes went into effect immediately.

The KCPHD fee schedule was opened primarily to adjust and add fees related to the cistern water system program.  However, several other revisions were made at the same time.  Outdated or old fees were removed or updated and policy language was revised.  Some of the changes include:

  • Late Fee for Temporary Food Event Applications: The late fee for temporary food event applications has been changed from double the fee to a 40% late fee.
  • OSS Design Archiving Fee: This $25 fee has been removed.
  • Rush Birth Certificate (Same Day) Fee: This $30 fee has been removed.
  • Cistern Fees: Cistern related fees were updated and two new fees were added per the table below.
