Notice of public hearing to consider adopting the 2022 County Budget.
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a public hearing will be held by the Board of County Commissioners on December 6th, 2021, at the hour of 2:00 p.m. in the County Commissioner’s Auditorium, County Courthouse and if necessary, will continue through December 10th, 2021, to consider the adoption of the proposed 2022 County Budget.
Included in the 2022 preliminary budgets are property taxes in the estimated amount of: $9,556,921 for the General Levy which includes an increase of 1%, $7,827,965 for the County Road Levy; which includes an increase of 1%; and $871,886 for the Flood Control Zone Levy; which includes an increase of $1%, and all include new construction, and increases due to state assessed utilities.
At said hearing; any interested person may appear and be heard for or against said proposed budgets and the property taxes.
