Notice of public hearing to consider CDBG-CV1 Grant Only

The Kittitas County Board of Commissioners will meet on Tuesday September 1, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. by calling 1-408-418-9388  Event number/Access Code: 146 985 4280. Event password: pMCcfpbF486

The purpose of the public hearing is to review community development and housing needs, inform citizens of the availability of funds and eligible uses of the state Community Development Block Grant (CDBG), and receive comments on proposed activities, particularly from lower income persons residing in the Kittitas County area. Up to $292,365.00 may be available to Kittitas County as a consortium with all cities applying to fund CDBG public services and local microenterprise assistance programs; rental and mortgage assistance and daycare expenses for people who have lost income due to COVID-19 impacts . All CDBG funded activities must benefit low- and moderate-income persons or meet the CDBG urgent need national objective criteria. An overview of the proposed activities will be available for review at the Kittitas County website www.co.kittitas.wa.us.  Comments may also be submitted in writing to Kittitas County by emailing bocc@co.kittitas.wa.us or mail at 205 W. 5th Ave. #108 Ellensburg, WA 98926.
