Call for sealed bids for land application of Septage.
This call for sealed bids is for labor, materials, equipment, necessary to land apply septage in accordance with WAC 173-308 and Biosolids Management Guidelines. Bids are due by July 1, 2020, at which time bids will no longer be accepted. Bids will be opened at 925 Industrial Way, Ellensburg, WA 98926 on July 1, 2020 at 4:00 pm.

Bidders are invited to submit sealed bids for the land application of septage from the 500,000 gallon septage ponds located at 25900 Vantage Highway, Ellensburg, WA. The work in to be done based on the procedures defined in WAC 173-308 and Biosolids Management Guidelines (DOE, July 2000), the application rate has been established by the Department of Ecology letter dated June 12, 2020.

The Work is anticipated to begin on August 10, 2020 and shall be substantially complete within 30 calendar days of the actual effective date of the Notice to Proceed and completed and ready for final payment within 30 calendar days following achievement of Substantial Completion.
Kittitas County will receive sealed bids until 4:00 P.M. on Monday, July 1, 2020 at the Solid Waste Programs Office located at 925 Industrial Way, Ellensburg, Washington 98926. Bids will then and there be opened and, unless obviously non-responsive, read aloud publicly.
