KITTITAS COUNTY AUDITOR ~ CURRENT ELECTION INFORMATION:
Tuesday, November 6th, 2018 –General Election:
Notice is hereby given that the following dates, deadlines and meetings apply to the upcoming General Election, to be held Tuesday, November 6, 2018:
October 8, 2018 -Last day to register online or through the mail: Voter registration files will be closed against original and transfer of Voter Registrations- 29 days prior to the General Election. To register to vote, visit www.myvote.wa.gov or appear in person at 205 W. 5th Ave, Suite 105, Ellensburg.
October 29, 2018 – Last day to register- In-person registration for qualified electors (new registrants within the state) must register to vote IN PERSON at the office of the Kittitas County Auditor up to 8 days prior to the General election.
Registration assistance and voting aides are available for the elderly, disabled, or anyone that requests additional assistance.
ADA compliant voting equipment is available for use in the Auditor’s Office- Kittitas County Courthouse, Room 105, beginning Friday, October 19, 2018, continuing weekdays through Monday, November 5th from 9am to 4:30pm, and on Election Day, from 9am to 8pm.
All eligible voters will be mailed a ballot at least 18 days prior to the election. Those not receiving a ballot may call the Elections Department at 962-7503, or stop in the office, to verify eligibility and request a ballot.
Ballots, Replacement Ballots, Provisional Ballots, and voting supplies will be available:
Auditor’s office, Monday - Friday 9am-5pm
Election Day- 9am to 8pm at the Auditor’s Office (205 W. 5th Ave, Suite 105- Ellensburg)
Noon to 8pm – Putnam Senior Center (Centennial Center) 719 E. 3rd St, Cle Elum
