NOTICE OF APPLICATION TO CHANGE THE PLACE OF USE AND ADD POINTS OF WITHDRAWAL TO GROUNDWATER PERMIT NO. G4-35799(E):
TAKE NOTICE:
That on May 7, 2018, Kittitas County of Kittitas County, WA filed change application number CG4-35799(E)P with the Department of Ecology to expand the place of use and add points of withdrawal to G4-35799(E).
That said right, under priority date of October 6, 2015, authorizes the withdrawal of up to 92.682 gallons per minute and 149.6 acre-feet per year with up to 467 wells from the bedrock aquifer system of the Lower Kittitas Basin located within portions of Sections 1-4, 11, and 12, T. 16 N., R. 19 E.W.M; Sections 3-10, 14-18, and 21-23, T. 16 N., R. 20 E.W.M.; Sections 1, 3, 11-13, and 24, T. 17 N., R. 18 E.W.M.; Sections 1-36, T. 17 N., R. 19 E.W.M.; Sections 2-11, 13-23, and 28-34, T. 17 N., R. 20 E.W.M.; Sections 1, 11-14, 23-27, and 34-36, T. 18 N., R. 18 E.W.M.; Sections 2-11 and 13-36, T. 18 N., R. 19 E.W.M.; and Sections 17-21 and 28-34, T. 18 N., R. 20 E.W.M.
That said right authorizes water to be used for domestic multiple for up to 467 residences year-round within portions of Sections 1-4, 11, and 12, T. 16 N., R. 19 E.W.M; Sections 3-10, 14-18, and 21-23, T. 16 N., R. 20 E.W.M.; Sections 1, 3, 11-13, and 24, T. 17 N., R. 18 E.W.M.; Sections 1-36, T. 17 N., R. 19 E.W.M.; Sections 2-11, 13-23, and 28-34, T. 17 N., R. 20 E.W.M.; Sections 1, 11-14, 23-27, and 34-36, T. 18 N., R. 18 E.W.M.; Sections 2-11 and 13-36, T. 18 N., R. 19 E.W.M.; and Sections 17-21 and 28-34, T. 18 N., R. 20 E.W.M.
That the applicant proposes to change the place of use to include the following: Sections 1-4, 11, and 12, T. 16 N., R. 19 E.W.M; Sections 3-10, 14-18, and 21-23, T. 16 N., R. 20 E.W.M.; Sections 1, 3, 11-13, and 24, T. 17 N., R. 18 E.W.M.; Sections 1-36, T. 17 N., R. 19 E.W.M.; Sections 2-11, 13-23, and 28-34, T. 17 N., R. 20 E.W.M.; Sections 1, 11-14, 23-27, and 34-36, T. 18 N., R. 18 E.W.M.; Sections 1-36, T. 18 N., R. 19 E.W.M.; Sections 5-8, 17-21 and 28-34, T. 18 N., R. 20 E.W.M.; Sections 20-22, 26-29, and 31-36, T. 19 N., R. 19 E.W.M.; and Sections 30-31, T. 19 N., R. 20 E.W.M.
And that the applicant proposed to add points of withdrawal within the bedrock aquifer system of the Lower Kittitas Basin located within portions of Sections 1-6 and 8-14, T. 18 N., R. 19 E.W.M.; Sections 5-8 and 17-18, T. 18 N., R. 20 E.W.M.; Sections 20-22, 26-29, and 31-36, T. 19 N., R. 19 E.W.M.; and Sections 30-31, T. 19 N., R. 20 E.W.M. not to exceed 467 wells.
Protests or objections to approval of this application must include a detailed statement of the basis for objections. All letters of protest will become public record. Cash shall not be accepted. Fees must be paid by check or money order and are nonrefundable. Protests must be accompanied by a $50 recording fee payable to the Department of Ecology, Cashiering Unit, PO Box 47611, Olympia WA 98504-7611, within 30 days from: May 29,2018.
