Kittitas (pronounced 'kit-i-tass') County is located in central Washington
State. It spans from the lush forested Cascade Mountains to the upper Yakima River Valley plains and
the Columbia River.
The Kittitas Valley Event Center is bringing a new country concert event to town on the 4th of July this year. Patriot Night Under the Lights will be making its home in Ellensburg’s famous Rodeo Arena and is presenting Tracy Lawrence as the headliner! He’s sold THIRTEEN MILLION albums, has had TWENTY-TWO songs on the Billboard Top 10 charts and EIGHTEEN No. 1 songs. He’s also garnered numerous CMA and ACM awards and nominations, as well as a Grammy nomination. You can also listen in to him on 95.3 KXLE hosting his own nationally syndicated radio show, “Honky Tonkin’ With Tracy Lawrence”.
The Arena grounds will open on Independence Day at 7:00PM. Food vendors and beer gardens will be available before Tracy Lawrence takes the stage at 8:30PM. It’s sure to be a great show for the whole family! Stick around after the concert for the biggest fireworks show in town. Then, if you’re 21 and over, you can head over to Behind the Chutes for the Patriot After Party. Tickets go on sale Monday, April 1, 2019 and prices are $25 in the grandstands or $30 on the arena floor. They will be available online or at the KVEC office located at 901 E 7th Ave in Ellensburg.
