The Kittitas County Community Development Services (CDS) Department is currently seeking qualified candidates for the position of Plans Examiner. This is a full-time, non-exempt, benefits-eligible, non-union position. The Plans Examiner is responsible for performing residential and commercial plan reviews by correcting plans and blueprints for compliance with current adopted codes. This position is also responsible for recording inspections and informing permit holders of code requirements. Anyone who meets the qualifications stated in the job description is encouraged to apply. This position is considered open until filled with a first review after June 30, 2023.
Salary Range: $5,412.00 - $7,282.00 per month.
