The codes adopted by the state include: the 2012 International Building Code (IBC), the 2012 International Residential Code (IRC), the 2012 International Mechanical Code (IMC), the 2012 International Fire Code (IFC), the 2012 Uniform Plumbing Code (UPC) and the 2012 Washington State Energy Code (WSEC). In addition, the following codes are proposed for local adoption: the 2012 International Property Maintenance Code (IPMC) and the 2012 International Wildland-Urban Interface Code (IWUIC).
