REQUEST FOR QUOTES ON AN EXCAVATOR FOR KITTITAS COUNTY SOLID WASTE DEPARTMENT

Proposal to include Cost of Excavator delivered to Kittitas County Compost facility and 8 hours of training for the operator and regular maintenance for the first 6 months. This machine will be used to feed yard waste into the county owned grinder.

Excavator Specification:

1) New or Used machine acceptable in good condition.

2) Engine 90-110 hp

3) Same as or equal to a 13.5 Metric ton class machine

4) Must have 24" pads to be used on Asphalt

5) Maximum Reach 29 ft.

6) Lifting capacity over front at ground level 5980 lbs

7) Equipped with a Hydraulic pin grabber coupler, progressive link thumb and 36" bucket.

8) Must have push blade

9) No older then a 2006.

10) Maintenance history to be provided

11) No more than 2000 hour on Machine. Need to submit hours on machine with proposal

12) 6 Month Minimum Warranty on Drive train

Proposals will need to be submitted by 1:00pm on June 3, 2013 to the Kittitas County Solid Waste Office at 925 Industrial Way, Ellensburg, WA.

Kittitas County Solid Waste Department reserves the right to reject all bids or any bid not conforming to the intent and purpose of the proposal.

All bid submittals shall become the property of Kittitas County.

Kittitas County reserves the right to reject all bids and re-advertise if necessary.
