The Kittitas County Board of Commissioners will meet at 2:00 pm on April 4, 2017 at 205 W. 5th Ave. #109 Ellensburg, WA to review community development and housing needs, inform citizens of the availability of funds and eligible uses of the state Community Development Block Grant (CDBG), and receive comments on proposed activities, particularly from lower income persons residing in Kittitas County. $84,503.00 is proposed to be available annually to the county and the HopeSource to fund public services that principally benefit low- and moderate-income persons. An overview of the proposed public services will be available for review at HopeSource 700 E. Mountain View Ave. Ellensburg, WA. Comments may also be submitted in writing to Kittitas County up until 2:00 pm on April 4, 2017. Comments on the county’s and community action program’s past performance and use of their 2016 CDBG Public Services Grant will also be received. The Kittitas County Commissioners Auditorium is handicap accessible. Arrangements to reasonably accommodate special needs, including handicap accessibility or interpreter, will be made upon receiving 24-hour advance notice.
