The Board of Kittitas County Commissioners will meet at 2:00 pm on March 15, 2016 at 205 W. 5th Ave.Room 109 Ellensburg, WA to review community development and housing needs, inform citizens and the availability of funds and eligible uses of the State Community Development Block Grant (CDBG), and receive comments on proposed activities, particularly from lower income persons residing in Kittitas County. $83,177.00 is proposed to be available annually to the county and HopeSource to fund public services that principally benefit low-and moderate-income persons. An overview of the proposed public services will be available for review at HopeSource 700 E. Mountain View Ave. Ste 501 Ellensburg, WA. Comments may also be submitted in writing to Kittitas County up until 2:00 pm March 15, 2016. Comments on the county's and HopeSource' past performance and use of their 2015 CDBG Public Service Grant will also be received. The Kittitas County Commissioners Auditorium is handicap accessible. Arrangements to reasonably accommodate special needs, including handicap accessibility or interpreter, will be made upon receiving 24-hour advance notice.
