This call for sealed bids is to Dispose of Equipment No. 464 - Used 2003 Etnyre Chip Spreader AND call for sealed bids to Purchase One (1) New 2014 Chip Spreader. Bids are due by February 20, 2014 at 2:00 pm, at which time bids will no longer be accepted. Bids will be opened at the Kittitas County Public Works Office, 411 North Ruby Street, Suite 1, Ellensburg, Washington on February 20, 2014 at 2:00 pm.
Individuals bidding on surplus equipment must include a certified check, cashier’s check or cash in the full amount of the bid and will be responsible for completing Department of Revenue Form Notice of Use Tax Due at the time of bid award. Payment of use tax shall be made to the Department of Revenue. All checks shall be made payable to Kittitas County Treasurer.
Individuals bidding on the new equipment only or new equipment and trade in shall include with their bid a bid bond, certified check, cashier’s check or cash in the amount of five (5%) of the total bid.
The 2003 Entyre Chip Spreader may be inspected at the Kittitas County Maintenance Shop, 15th and Okanogan St., Ellensburg, WA. Inspection must be scheduled with Willie Adams, Shop Supervisor, (509) 962-7523.
