On August 15th, 2017 the Kittitas County Board of County Commissioners created a Solar Facilities Citizen Advisory Committee made up of twelve appointed committee members. These Committee members have been tasked with creating development standards and siting criteria for the construction of large scale solar facilities within Kittitas County. Over the next few months the committee will be meeting to discuss and determine these new standards with a goal of adoption into County Code through the annual docket process by December 2017.
