The mapping criteria below was utilized by County staff in preparation of the draft
zoning maps listed above. These mapping criteria have been revised based on comments
received at the April Open House Meetings.
Based on comments from the June Open House Meetings, County staff have prepared
revisions to the draft mapping and mapping criteria for presentation to the Board
of County Commissioners and Planning Commission on July 24th. Draft Proposed Land
Use maps and Proposed Zoning maps, for each of the twelve study areas, and mapping
criteria are listed below.
Kittitas County has a total area of 2,333 square miles. The highest point in the county is Mount Daniel at 7,959 feet above sea level.
