    a. Cape SEPA MDNS and Grading Permit Appeal Hearing (SE-22-00002)

    Cape Grading Permit and SEPA Mitigated Determination of Non-Significance (MDNS) appeal (GP-22-00009 and SE-22-00002). The proposed project would include driveway improvements including surfacing, widening as needed to meet County standards, and re-establishing and installing new drainage swales as needed. The project is proposed on a site that is zoned Forest and Range. Pursuant to WAC 197-11-350, Kittitas County Community Development Services did on, July 19, 2022, issue a Mitigated Determination of Non-Significance (MDNS) for the Cape SEPA application (SE-22-00002). The applicant filed a timely appeal on August 2, 2022 and subsequent appeal on October 24, 2022.

    b. Events at Brickhouse Nursery Conditional Use Permit Hearing (CU-22-00004)

    The proposed project is for a small-scale event facility for 50 people or less on parcel 956554. The existing cottages on the property will be used in conjunction with the event facility. The event facility also includes a pergola, gardens, greenhouse, and restroom building. This use is allowed with a conditional use permit in Agriculture 20 under KCC 17.15.060.1
