Kittitas (pronounced 'kit-i-tass') County is located in central Washington
State. It spans from the lush forested Cascade Mountains to the upper Yakima River Valley plains and
the Columbia River.
Private organizations may adopt a portion of a County Road and pick up litter along that road on a regular basis.
Currently the following roads have been adopted:
All Roads within Hyak Estates, Divisions 1, 2, 3, & 4 have been adopted by the Hyak Property Owners’ Association
Fairpoint Communications adopted a portion of University Way just outside the Ellensburg City limits
Puget Sound Energy’s Wild Horse Wind Farm has adopted a portion of Vantage Highway
Suncadia has adopted Bullfrog Road
The Last Resort has adopted a portion of Salmon la Sac Road from the Turnaround to Wish Poosh Campground
The residents on E. Spark Road in Easton have adopted E. Sparks Road
The Easton Saloon keeps Railroad Street clean in Easton
