Kittitas County, WA - 03/31/2015 - On March 25, 2015 Sheriff Gene Dana received the Patriotic Employer award from Mary Miller, Chair for Employee Support of the Guard and Reserve (ESGR) West Central Committee.
Sheriff Dana is being recognized for contributing to National Security and Protecting Liberty and Freedom by supporting participation in America’s National Guard and Reserve Force. Deputy Nate Foster is a Major in the Washington Air National Guard and is currently assigned as the Commander of the 194th Security Forces Flight, Deputy Foster’s flight is assigned to the 194th Wing at Camp Murray, Washington. Deputy Foster submitted the nomination for the great support that the Sheriff’s Office provides to him as well as Deputy Ben Corbett who is a Sergeant First Class in the 1-205 RTI at the Yakima Training Center.
