Notice of Technical Advisory Committee meetings for Regional Shoreline Master Program update and County Critical Areas Ordinance update.
Kittitas County, WA - 05/24/2012 - Kittitas County and the Cities of Ellensburg, Cle Elum, and the Town of South Cle Elum are participating in a multi-year process to develop a regional Shoreline Master Program (SMP). In conjunction with the regional SMP update, Kittitas County has initiated an update to its Critical Areas Ordinance (CAO). One component of these update processes is formation of a Technical Advisory Committee (TAC) to help focus technical discussions and identify key technical and policy issues associated with the SMP and CAO updates.
The SMP and CAO Technical Advisory Committee will hold its third meeting on June 8, 2012 at 9:00 a.m. at the Ellensburg City Council Chambers, 501 N. Anderson St., Ellensburg, WA. Future meetings are scheduled for July 13, August 10, September 14, November 9, and December 14. All meetings will be held at the same location and begin at 9:00 a.m.

Members of the public may attend the meetings and address the TAC with their thoughts and ideas. Accordingly, meeting materials will be available on the County website and up to ten minutes will be provided at the beginning of each meeting for public comment. The public will also be encouraged to submit written comments to the County, Cities/Town and/or the TAC.
