Notice of public hearing to consider a CDBG Application - Kittitas Water District 6 (Vantage)
The Board of Kittitas County Commissioners will meet at 2:00 pm on January 18, 2011 in Room 109 at 205 W. 5th Ave. Ellensburg, WA to consider public comments on the review of community development and housing needs, inform citizens of the availability of funds and eligible uses of the state Community Development Block Grant (CDBG), and proposed activities, particularly from low-and moderate-income persons and persons residing in the Kittitas County area. Up to $1.5 million may be available to Kittitas County on a statewide competitive basis to fund public facility, community facility, economic development and affordable housing projects that principally benefit low-and moderate-income persons. An outline of the Phase 2 - Wastewater Treatment Plant Upgrade project by Kittitas Water District #6 (Vantage) may be viewed at the Kittitas County Community Development Services 411 N. Ruby St. #4 Ellensburg, WA or at www.co.kittitas.wa.us/notices. Comments may also be submitted in writing to Kittitas County Commissioners Office until January 18, 2011 at 2 pm. The Commissioners Auditorium is handicap accessible.
